A Lovely Overnight Getaway

I took a random (but planned!) overnight trip to Rutgers yesterday.

Although I was telling others (and myself) I was heading down to New Brunswick “to get a better picture on Vision Fair layout” and “to see my mission kids, Eunice and BK”, I think all I really wanted was a getaway from unending honking of yellow cabs, obnoxious drill noises of construction sites, and extreme, periodical loneliness of a mega city.

And I had a lovely time in New Brunswick. This trip was my second time visiting, and so far, I love and continue to fall in love with New Brunswick and the RU KCCC community. Or…it may be the way God always reveals Himself so vividly to me in New Brunswick that makes me love these random trips to Rutgers even more.

Already, I’m starting to look forward to seeing an empty box on my calendar for another trip down to New Brunswick.
